These Terms & Conditions apply to the website surebiomed.com and to enquiries, quotations, orders and services provided by SureBiomed (“SureBiomed”, “we”, “us”), 7th Floor, Flat No. 702, Riddhi Siddhi Apartment, H. No. 1534, Kamatghar, Bhiwandi, Thane, Maharashtra 421302, India. By using this website or placing an order with us you agree to these terms.
1. Nature of products
SureBiomed supplies pre-owned, refurbished and new medical imaging equipment (including CT, MRI, Cath Lab, PET-CT, Gamma Camera and X-ray systems), spare parts and related services. Refurbished equipment is tested and serviced by our engineers before supply; its exact condition, configuration, software version and accessories are as stated in the written quotation for that system.
2. Information on this website
Product listings, photographs and specifications on this website are for general information only and may change without notice. Equipment shown may already be sold. Brand names such as GE, Siemens and Philips are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe the equipment; SureBiomed is an independent company and is not an authorised representative of these manufacturers unless stated in writing.
3. Prices and quotations
Prices are not published on this website and are available on request. A sale or service contract is binding only when confirmed by a written quotation or purchase order accepted by both parties. Taxes (including GST), freight, insurance, rigging, site preparation, civil/electrical work and regulatory fees are charged as stated in the quotation.
4. Payment
Payment terms, advances and milestones are as set out in the quotation or agreement. Ownership of equipment passes to the buyer only after full payment has been received.
5. Delivery, installation and site readiness
Delivery and installation timelines are estimates and depend on site readiness, regulatory approvals and logistics. The customer is responsible for providing a site that meets the room, power, cooling and radiation-shielding requirements communicated by SureBiomed.
6. Regulatory compliance
Installation and use of radiation-emitting equipment in India requires approvals from the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB) through the eLORA system. SureBiomed can assist with documentation and compliance, but obtaining and maintaining licences remains the responsibility of the equipment owner/user unless agreed otherwise in writing. Equipment supplied outside India is subject to the import and regulatory rules of the destination country.
7. Warranty
Any warranty on equipment, parts or service is limited to the scope and period stated in the quotation or AMC/CMC agreement. Warranty does not cover damage from misuse, unauthorised repair, power fluctuations, inadequate cooling, natural events or consumables (such as X-ray tubes, unless specifically included).
8. AMC / CMC service contracts
Annual (AMC) and Comprehensive (CMC) Maintenance Contracts are governed by their own written agreements, which define coverage, response times, uptime commitments, exclusions and payment terms.
9. Cancellation and returns
Because imaging systems are configured, de-installed and transported specifically for each order, orders cannot be cancelled once confirmed except as provided in the quotation. Spare parts may be returned only if agreed in writing, unused and in original condition.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, SureBiomed’s total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific product or service concerned, and SureBiomed is not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as loss of revenue or patient scans.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Thane, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
